When will Brigit’s Village construction be completed?

How can I get on the interest list?

Complete and submit the form on this website.  You will be contacted by email when the facility gets closer to opening.  Inclusion on the list does not guarantee that you will get an apartment.

Do you allow Pets?

This will be determined by the Property Management Company. 

How many units will be in Brigit’s Village?

40 units total   22 one bedroom, 12 two bedrooms and 6 three bedrooms

Is this a low income Federal funded housing?  Yes, along with support from CHFA (The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority), Weld County, Colorado Division of Housing and Town of Frederick.

Who can live there?  Do you have to be a member of the church?

Brigit’s Village is an intergenerational housing project with all ages welcomed.  It will also welcome all genders, sexual orientations, races, colors, disabilities, family types, national origins, and religious affiliations. 

No, you do not have to be a member of the St. Brigits Church or any other religious affiliation.

Will there be parking garages?

There are plans to have parking spaces, no garages.

Is there laundry in each apartment?

Yes, there will be a stackable washer and dryer in each unit.

What are the income qualifications?

This is low income housing and will have certain income levels for each individual or family size, based upon Federal standards. 

The actual rental amounts will be determined by the Property Management Company as they prepare to screen applicants.

Who owns Brigit’s Village?

Brigit’s Village Apartments are owned by St. Brigit’s Apartments, LLLC, which is a partnership among Brigit’s Village GP, LLC, owned by Brigit’s Village (an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit), St. Brigit’s GP, LLC, owned by Jon L Peterson, our tax credit investor, RBC Community Investments, LLC, and the Weld County Housing Authority, which provides a property tax exemption.

Is Brigit’s Village connected with St. Brigit Episcopal Church? Not formally.

St. Brigit church has no ownership of Brigit’s Village, but it does hope to be able to provide services to residents who would like support.  The majority of the Board of Directors of Brigit’s Village are church members, but not all of them.

 Is the church making any money from Brigit’s Village?  No.

Do you have to belong to the church to live at Brigit’s Village? No. All are welcome
